Out with the old!

And in with the new as they say! That’s what it feels like. Out with the old inconsistent way, I was doing things, and in with the new, changing the way we do things here.

“What are you talking about?” I can hear people saying. Well, it’s quite simple really, see I’ve tried to write a blog before. You can see them here with the ‘back issues’ but not that consistently. I’d write a few over a few weeks, then things got busy and I’d miss a few, write a couple more, then miss again. All the things the blogging ‘gurus’ tell us not to do!

But it’s ‘out with the old, and in with the new’. Time to do things differently.

Einstein said, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result!”

You want different results, ya gotta do things differently Simple as that!

This week things changed, circumstances changed, all of a sudden, instead of having to work six days to pay the bills, I can get the hours I need to generate the income in five!

It means those five days are longer, but the payoff is an extra day at home, being with family and that has to be worth all the sweat and toil right?

See, I work as a Bus driver, and while I love the job, it would be really nice to get more time at home with family, and more time to develop my writing skills, making the changes will bring that, at least that’s the plan.

So, it’s out with the old, inconsistent way of doing things. where a blog was written every few weeks, and in with the new where we’ll find something to talk about every week, even if it’s just the perils of bus driving!

Actually, you know the word consistency is just another way of saying ‘Reliable’ really, because if something is consistently good, then you can rely on it being good!

I like to pride myself on being reliable, but in this area, I haven’t been that consistent, or reliable, that has to change, but what about you?
